EMERGING TECHNOLOGY SHARING SESSION WEBINAR | SATURDAY, 19 JUNE 2021

Upstream gas transmission and distribution mostly still occupy pipelines as vehicle to deliver the fluid towards processing facilities or terminals. In operation phase, pipeline intervention is required in purpose for maintenance and repair program. Within gas pipelines, remaining gas inside pipeline unexpectedly is disposed to empty pipeline through the flare system prior to executing required maintenance or repair activities. The method worsens carbon emission exposure into the air and impact to gas production lost as well. Emerging Technology to isolate remaining gas inside pipeline exists to minimize such issues. The efforts to minimize carbon emission is indeed align with Indonesian Government Net Zero Emission program. This webinar session is going to share emerging technology to isolate remaining gas containment inside pipeline prior to intervention work.
